Fic: On Firmer Footing - chapter 2/? [May. 30th, 2012|08:07 am]

Title: On Firmer Footing

Summary: In the last years before the Ringwar, the hero Aragorn made a stealthy journey to the Dead Marshes near Mordor to capture the creature Gollum. (You can read Gandalf's account of this mission in the Council of Elrond chapters of The Lord of the Rings). What was never told was how Aragorn was joined on his quest by another brave warrior.
WARNING: this is a WIP, with all that implies - I may hit bumps or slow down; I may have to go back and edit; while I do have a general idea of where it's going, I'm not at all sure of how these two will tell me how to play it.

So, im looking for a fic I read awhile back and can't find anywhere, so if you can help me, it'll be much appreciated!
It is Aragorn/Legolas and has evil!Arwen. It start off with them returning from the quest, and Legolas is depressed cause he is in love with Aragorn. They arrive back and Arwen gives Aragorn a drink and then he collapses and Legolas thinks shes poisened him, but it turns out Aragorn planned it so he could be alone with Legolas. I can't remember much else, just that they bond and can read each others mind.

You should prepare your tissues at least cause this fic is...amazing, beautiful but sad all at the same time.
There are very few fanfics that can make you travel far away, they are rare. But this is one of them.
I guarantee is really good, unique so to maintain all this I'll say no more ^_^

All Legolas/Aragorn fans, please read it.

So I just watched the LOTR trilogy and I'm so in the mood to read some awesome stories about my fav couple. Does anyone know any stories where it's not sad in the end, it gets me kinda a depressed where Legolas says goodbye at the end of a story either to leave middle earth or when Aragorn dies. Maybe Aragorn gets to share immortality with Legolas or something. I did read a long while back of a story where Arwen in her love for Aragorn gave her light to him so he can be happy with Legolas for eternity. It was very heartbreaking and sweet at the same time. Or maybe a AU where Aragorn is half elven, not just distantly related to Elrond.

I'm in the mood for some feel good stories, with drama and plot that makes me all happy and sappy at the end. ;) Long fics are appreciated. But please, no rape fics and such angst stuff...I can't handle either boys like that. What can I say, I'm a wuss that way. lol So any recs?

If this is not the place to post this, sorry in advance and maybe point me in the right direction?

Hmm if anybody frequents here anymore, I'm wondering if you can help me.

I'm looking for some recs, specifically ones where Aragorn and Legolas are already together and the rest of the fellowship find out at some point along the journey. Any reaction is good, I don't mind if it's positive or negative, I just really love that idea ^^
